Op 11 juni 2019 promoveerde Laura Seynaeve aan de KU Leuven op het proefschrift getiteld ‘Multimodal image-guided transcranial magnetic stimulation in the delineation of eloquent cerebral cortex in the neurosurgical patient and the treatment of refractory focal epilepsy’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder leiding van promotor prof. dr. W. Van Paesschen en copromotoren prof. dr. S. De Vleeschouwer en prof. dr. S. Sunaert. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
