Op 16 februari 2024 promoveerde Julia Christine Marianne Pottkämper aan de Universiteit Twente op haar proefschrift getiteld ‘The end is just the beginning: unraveling the postictal state’. Het onderzoek werd uitgevoerd onder leiding van promotoren prof. dr. ir. M.J.A.M. van Putten (Universiteit Twente) en prof. dr. J. Hofmeijer (Universiteit Twente) en copromotor dr. J.A. van Waarde (Rijnstate Ziekenhuis). In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
