Op 20 april 2021 behaalde Elien De Cock haar doctoraat aan de Universiteit Gent met het proefschrift getiteld ‘Post-stroke dysphagia, dysarthria and aphasia: from epidemiology to technology-delivered aphasia therapy’. Het onderzoek werd uitgevoerd onder leiding van promotoren prof. dr. V. De Herdt, prof. dr. K. Oostra en dr. K. Batens. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
