Op 28 september 2024 promoveerde Aniek van Gils aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam op het proefschrift getiteld ‘Digital tools to support dementia diagnosis: bridging the gap from innovation to real-world application’. Het onderzoek werd uitgevoerd onder leiding van promotor prof. dr. W.M. van der Flier en copromotoren dr. H.F.M. Rhodius-Meester en dr. N.C. Visser. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
